All clients who wish to use out-of-network insurance benefits will be provided with a “superbill” to submit to their insurance company on request.
In order to estimate your cost, you may wish to call your insurance company and ask: whether you have out-of-network outpatient mental health benefits and what percentage of session fees will be covered.
You may also wish to know if you need to meet a deductible before you can receive out-of-network benefits, what documentation should be submitted, and when your plan year begins/ends.
